Vibration-Station Undergoes a Make Over !!

A Level of confusion this week then at Vibration-Station.co.uk following an attempt at a name change to http://www.getmeoff.co.uk.

The name change was originally proposed as it was felt initially that http://www.vibration-station.co.uk was maybe a little long winded and we were seeking something a little more catchy. We did all of our revision and came up with what we thought was a funky name that people would remember in Get Me Off. Dont get us wrong, we are proud of Vibration-Station and its name, it has done well and gone from strength to strength, its just we thought something a little more catchy would ensure we remain at the forefront of visitor's minds for future requirements.

We went live with the name and the new layout to the site at approx 1200 hrs Saturday 28th February 2009 & notified all of the customer base of the change and how it may have affected them, and within approximately 4 - 5 hours we had changed the site back to good old Vibration-Station.co.uk.

Why ???

We recieved a few e-mails stating that they thought the new name for the site may have been a little "in your face". On careful consideration and baring in mind the last thing we want to do is to cause offence we reverted back to our original name. e suppose also it is beneficial from an operational point of view in some ways in that we do not need to manually update eisting links with other sites and change alot of wording on site.

So there you have it - for any of you who were wondering, thats the reason why perhaps the quickest ever change of business name in history came about. !

We shall however over the coming months be launching seperate sites that are more dedicated to each gender and sexual preferences so be sure to keep an eye out for them !!

Lesson Learned we think !

    Our Facebook Page is Proving a Big Hit...
